Fairy house (work in progress)
This is a work in progress... I've been working on it for a week so far. I'm planning to sell it at the gallery when it is done. Thank g-d we have an orchard, I don't know where I'd find all this stuff if we had some cookie cutter yard with no trees. :)
I'll post more pictures as I go. It will be furnished as well.

Fairy Furniture
I made two fairy beds so far. They started as wood bases, I used bark and moss from our orchard to make the 'bones' of the beds. The rest of them is dried flowers, fresh water pearls and other random stuff I had in my art room. :)

Fairies
Finally finished a fairy house. The base for this was one of the dollar mini bird houses from Michaels. I papered it then made a new door. The fairy lamp is a baked marble and acorn cap. The mini snail is in a real shell.
Window in back has mica sheets as the "glass"
Finshed fairy village.
Art doll work in progress
Mini fairies for an as yet unfinished scene
Tiny cloche of toadstools
Thimble gardens
This technically isn't a fairy thing, though it does have fairy elements on it, so it counts. :) I made this for my mom. The beads are all done as individual wire wrap, there are charms at the bottom of each. Most of them I made, a couple I used store bought charms. The wood is from our orchard, we had to cut a few trees down recently in the older part of it. I snagged a few nicely shaped branches and some bark for later fairy houses.

Almost finished with the circus freak
I've been lagging. Now I need to make him a home. I'm debating a book like I did for the fairy and mermaid or maybe a shrine. We'll see. This little guy got set off to the side for a while and I forgot about him.

Wizard mini's
The Toad and I worked with clay most of the weekend. Here are some of the (mostly) finished wizard mini's I've been making. I will post more pictures of the others as I finish.
A shrunken head (not finished), I added hair and more paint. I'll post when it is dry
Wizards staff
Candles
Bird skull
Fairy doors (okay, not a wizard mini, but they are fantasy right?)
Unicorn horn
Again, not a wizard mini. Toad wanted a Nightmare before christmas style skull. This was my first attempt.
Mini snail, real shell.
And also not a wizard mini, but I was playing with wire a bit too. We've all been sivk this last week so I was doing stuff I could do from the couch.

Altered matchboxes
I am working on altered match boxes. No idea what i want to fill two of them with, but the third has turned into a magic book for the Toad.
There is a mouse thigh bone, a fossilied tiny shark tooth, a key, a sorcerers stone, a skeleton hand, cemetery dirt and witches muchrooms.

The mushrooms are fimo clay. The case is half of a gel capsule and a button. The wands are fancy toothpicks, with the ends sanded to rounded tips.

Halloween (and my sis's b-day)
Happy birthday to my beautiful little sister!!! This is us circa 1994.
On an unrelated note... I was working on Halloween fun... I got these great little bottles on B-Muse.com and was having fun with them. The labels came from various sources. The fillings are all random stuff I had on my workbench.

Day of the dead
I made a mini shrine for the day of the dead. It isn't finished yet. The 'sugar skulls" were harder than they looked. The whole thing is about 3 1/2 to 4 inches tall. :)

New toys!!
My darling husband McHottness surprised me today! I got a new scroll saw, Yeah!
I guess this means I have some dollhouse miniatures to work on then, huh?

Tools
We went and window shopped today to avoid the heat and I managed to find about 10 new tools I *need* for my miniatures and projects. Thankfully my husband is understanding of my obsession, er, hobby. :) They had the most adorable little table saws and such, perfect for tiny furniture. In any case, I think "power tools" may be on my holiday wish list for once.
